Julia has over 30 years of experience in Public Accounting for small to medium-sized businesses, no<\/span>n-profits, and individuals, and has been in practice for herself for most of that period.<\/span><\/p>\n

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College at the University of Toronto, she worked as a junior CA for several years for a medium-sized CA firm in the east end of Toronto.<\/span> She moved to the west end of Toronto and set up her own practice as “<\/span>Julia P Stavreff CA” <\/span>in the 1980s. Initially she had only five clients. However, her client base grew rapidly as a result of networking and referrals, and she soon thereafter added support staff to help service her growing clientele. In 1991 Julia and another CA named Barbara Gory merged their practices into a partnership called <\/span>Gory & Stavreff Chartered Accountants.<\/span><\/p>\n

After Barbara’s retirement Julia took over Barbara’s clients, and the name of the firm again <\/span>became <\/span>Julia P Stavreff CA .<\/span> With the change of designations\u00a0 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2013, Julia’s professional designation became Julia P Stavreff CPA-CA.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2021 the firm was incorporated as Stavreff & Associates CPAs Professional Corporation. The firm currently has two partners, Julia and Rob.<\/p>\n
